Brief Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Kaziranga
Touch down at Guwahati Airport and embark on a scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park, world-famous for its single-horned rhinoceros population. Check into your resort, relax after your journey, and take in the serene surroundings of Assam's lush landscape. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 2 Kaziranga Jeep Safari – Transfer to Shillong
Wake up early for an exhilarating morning Jeep Safari inside Kaziranga National Park to spot one-horned rhinos, wild elephants, swamp deer, and rich birdlife. After the safari, commence your journey towards Shillong, the picturesque capital of Meghalaya known as the "Scotland of the East". Check into your hotel and enjoy an evening stroll around local cafes and markets. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 3 Shillong to Cherrapunjee via Laitlum Canyons
Depart Shillong for Cherrapunjee, stopping en route at the spectacular Laitlum Canyons for breathtaking views of dramatic gorges, steep cliffs, and endless green valleys. Continue driving past cascading waterfalls and misty hills before checking into your resort in Cherrapunjee. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
Day 4 Double Decker Root Bridge Trek in Nongriat
Start early for an adventurous trek down approximately 3,500 steps from Tyrna Village into the lush tropical rainforest of Nongriat. Arrive at the awe-inspiring Double Decker Living Root Bridge — a natural bio-engineering marvel crafted by local Khasi tribes over centuries. Cool off with a swim in the turquoise natural water pools before making the trek back up. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
Day 5 Cherrapunjee to Shnongpdeng via Mawlynnong
Drive towards Mawlynnong, recognized as Asia's cleanest village. Walk along flower-bedecked cobblestone paths, visit the bamboo skywalk, and see the single living root bridge. Afterwards, proceed to Shnongpdeng along the crystal-clear Umngot River near Dawki. Check into Dome/Alpine Camps by the riverside and gather around a warm bonfire under starry night skies. Overnight in Shnongpdeng.
Day 6 Dawki Water Activities – Krangsuri Waterfall – Shillong
Start your day with a tranquil boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River in Dawki, where boats look like they are floating in thin air. Take part in optional adventure activities including cliff jumping, ziplining, and snorkelling. Later, visit the mesmerizing turquoise cascade of Krangsuri Waterfall before returning to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 7 Full Day at Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival
Dedicate a full day to experiencing the world-famous Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival! Walk beneath trees blanketed in pastel pink blooms at Ward's Lake and Polo Grounds, enjoy live musical performances by renowned local and international artists, sample traditional Khasi delicacies at food stalls, and immerse yourself in vibrant cultural celebrations. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 8 Departure via Umiam Lake
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head towards Guwahati Airport. Stop by the serene Umiam Lake (Barapani) for panoramic views and last-minute photographs. Transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward flight home with incredible memories of Meghalaya.

(Note: If you opt for the Cherry Blossom Festival extension below, your departure transfer will take place on Day 9).
Day 8 Optional Extension: Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival Magic
You can choose to extend your trip for 1 more day to fully soak in the Cherry Blossom Festival atmosphere! Enjoy an additional day of live music headliners, local wine tasting, guided photography walks through blossom-lined avenues, and handicraft shopping. Overnight in Shillong.

If selected, your departure transfer via Umiam Lake to Guwahati Airport will take place on Day 9.
