Brief Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Leh

Day 2 – Leh Local Sightseeing
Explore Leh's rich culture. Visit the historic Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, and Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers). Stop by the beautiful Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Spituk Monastery.
Day 3 – Leh to Nubra Valley
Drive to Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardungla Pass (one of the world's highest motorable roads at 17,582 ft). Descend into Nubra Valley, check into your camp/hotel, and visit the giant Maitreya Buddha statue in Diskit. Enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel ride on the Hunder Sand Dunes.
Day 4 – Turtuk Excursion
Take a day trip to Turtuk, a village right next to the Line of Control (LoC) that was under Pakistani control until 1971. Explore the unique Balti culture, apricot orchards, and historic Balti heritage museum. Return to Nubra Valley in the evening.
Day 5 – Nubra to Pangong Lake
Drive from Nubra to the stunning blue Pangong Lake via the Shyok river route. The lake, situated at 14,270 ft, spans across the India-China border. Watch the lake change colors from azure to turquoise under the setting sun. Spend the night at a lakeside camp.
Day 6 – Pangong to Leh
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Pangong Lake. Drive back to Leh crossing the high-altitude Changla Pass (17,688 ft). En route, visit Hemis or Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most picturesque monasteries in Ladakh. Check back into your hotel in Leh for a farewell dinner.
