Brief Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Phuentsholing
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, board your transfer and begin your journey to Bhutan. Cross the border and descend into Phuentsholing, complete the immigration formalities (a non-airport immigration which would probably your first!) and check into your hotel and settle for the night.
Day 2 – Journey to Thimphu
After breakfast, embark on a mesmerizing road journey through Bhutan's most spectacular countryside. Optional River rafting enroute – it doesn’t matter if you’ve rafted before or you can’t swim, rafting here is serene and fun! (PS: No previous tripper has opted out of rafting). Check-in to the hotel and explore Thimphu—the world's only capital city without traffic lights—and wander through vibrant local markets.
Day 3 – Thimphu to Punakha Scenic Loop
Explore Thimphu's cultural landmarks and drive to Dochu La, one of Bhutan's most scenic mountain passes at 3,050 meters. Visit the Buddha Statue overlooking Thimphu valley, symbolizing peace and enlightenment and head out to Simply Bhutan: An immersive museum showcasing traditional Bhutanese culture, architecture, and lifestyle. Check-in to the hotel at Punakha and after dinner we shall have a game night with the group.
Day 4 – Phobjikha Valley
Check-out from Punakha after breakfast and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, situated at the scenic confluence of the Mo Chhu and Po Chhu rivers. Visit the suspension bridge, click some great photos and have some amazing food from one of the best host you’d ever come across. Drive to Phobjikha and checkin to your hotel – freshen up and get ready for conversations over bon-fire!
Day 5 – Departure to Paro
Check-out from Phobjikha after breakfast after exploring the valley in the midnight. For those brave enough to wake up early, the valley is mystical around sunrise! Drive to Paro, one of Bhutan's most picturesque valleys. Check into your hotel and prepare for the journey's pinnacle experience. In the evening, explore Paro’s market area for some great souvenirs!
Day 6 – Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest)
Begin your expedition to Taktsang Monastery, one of the holiest sites in the Buddhist world. Arrive at the iconic Taktsang Monastery, clinging impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley—a breathtaking architectural and spiritual marvel. Optional Traditional Bhutanese hot-stone bath to wind down the trek – it is an amazing experience and one worth trying!
Day 7 – Homebound – Return Journey Begins
Before we leave Paro, we will have a pitstop for a nice photo session in traditional Bhutanese outfit and also view the scenic Paro airport from one of the best view points! Arrive in Siliguri by evening, check into your hotel, and rest after a fulfilling day of travel.
